baseball season

Here are the pics. of t-ball and coach pitch. They both have awesome coaches this year, and it's been fun to meet new parents that our kiddos are playing with! This game they are playing against Arimo, and both boys are on first base or batting.

Stinkin' pigs! (literally)

Here are the three pigs we're raising in our barn. I'm just waiting for them to come and huff and puff and blow our house down!
The other pics are of the boys riding the pig that wouldn't go back into the cage. Luke had to rope him, so the boys jumped on!! (BTW- Wilbur is the one in the back!) As promised, there is the pics. of Weston on the next post.

Promised pics.!!

Here is the picture I posted about in my post yesterday! This is my Wes-man on the day of his blessing. He wasn't happy that I was putting off milk for a pic, so that's why I only got one. Yeah, we were running late for church, so I didn't get any before hand. His outfit was a little too snug, but it's one our family has used for all the boys other than Carson. He was really cute all day, and it was special to have the Clark's there.

Summer . . .

This summer has been a crazy one! I'm still trying to figure out the four kiddo thing, and add all the craziness of summer on top- disaster! I'll try my hardest to update everyone. However, I can't find mom's usb cables, so no pics except what's from Jami's blog (sorry).

  • Jami and Cauley came for a week last week. The kids had so much fun, however, the rain didn't help with seven kiddos indoors for most of the time! Brooklynn and Tyli got along really well and became best friends almost instantly! This is a picture of them saying goodbye at the zoo.

  • We blessed Weston the Sunday they were here. It was a really fast decision since we didn't think of it until the night before, so most other family didn't get to come, but Jami and Cauley miss out most of the time, so we decided it would be best. So sorry for those we didn't call. You would have killed us if we called at 9:00 the night before to tell you to be in Downey at 9:00 a.m.!! Weston wore the outfit all the other boys wore, except Carson. He looked cute, and I only got one picture!

  • Hogle Zoo. We left for Utah with he Clarks, and went to the zoo for the day. It only rained a little, so we were blessed. The kiddos were also unusually good, so that was a plus. After the zoo, we went to Cabella's with Jake and Elaine. I sat in the car most of the time nursing Weston, but everyone else loved it! Pics and a post to come later!

  • T-ball and coach pitch are going great this year. Despite the rain and cold, we've played every game so far. Carson is on home run #4, and continues to learn. Colton is learning more and more, too. It's fun to watch them. I do have pics. of this, too, and will do a post later!!

  • It's raining cats and dogs here! We have SERIOUSLY had rain ( and a ton of it) EVERY day since the first of June, and it's not stopping. Coming from a farmer's wife, you would think I love it. I do, but would also love it to stop for a week or two so we can cut hay. Pretty soon it may mold! When it does actually warm up, the hay is going to grow so tall it will clog all of our swather headers! It's also starting to flood every time it rains. It's now one of those flash flood warnings whenever a cloud appears. We have been so blessed. 1. It's watering our fields for free. (We're in the thousands of dollars it's saving so far!) and 2., none of our fields or our house has yet flooded. I'll keep my fingers crossed and help those who aren't as lucky! I have pics. of this for you, too!
  • My kiddos are growing so fast! Weston was almost 10 lbs. at his 2 week appt. Crazy! He's now starting to smile and follow more familiar voices other than mine! Carson and Colton are busy in the mud. Yesterday they rode our pigs (pics. to come.) Last week they seriously took a bath in the driveway. I had to throw their clothes away, and it took two showers each to get them clean. They were gone for awhile, so I should have known!! Now they know better- they still have one load of laundry each to fold left, and two loads of dishes! Brooklynn is getting better and better at walking in mom's high heels! She can actually run in them now. That's all she wants when we go to the store. However, don't get any ideas for a gift. I wouldn't be able to get them off of her!

I'll try better at posting, but if the sun comes out, there are no guarantees! Some time this summer we have to get in weenie roasts, campfires with smores and dutch oven, cutting hay, and even swimming. I also may want to hike a little-depending on the temp!
