Here are Luke and Weton planting grain or something. These are awesome days when I can mop my floors, wash windows, etc. I can also enjoy it for a couple of hours!!!I'll admit, I'm kinda crappy about posting! I can't get Internet where I live (cuz I live in the middle of no-man's-land, where only crazy people go to farm and ride dirt bikes, and hunt!!) However, excuses aside, I do come to Poky once a week or two, so there should at least be a more frequent post!!
We have been busy, also! The boys are enjoying their new hobby/job- picking rock with the other Foster boys. They think it's awesome, so I will just wait to burst that bubble. I can't even get them to pick up their dirty clothes off their floor, but they'll go out in the dirt and deliberately pick rock??!!! The mysteries of motherhood!
Luke is busy getting the grain/potatoes/and sugar beets planted. It usually isn't a crazy, trying feat, however, they only have about two good days before the rain and/or snow comes and stops them for awhile. Crazy Idaho weather!!
Weston will be 2 in a couple of weeks, and I'm going crazy knowing that he's almost considered a toddler. My BABY!! Ahh. He's definitely an outdoor kid himself. Loves to ride on the tractor with daddy. I even took Colton to the dentist while Weston was on the tractor, and not a problem on Luke's end. Wes was good the entire time, and even took a nap on the floor of the cab. Bad parents!!! The Easter bunny brought the kiddos a trampoline with a net, and is still suffering from a cold while setting it up in freezing conditions. Weston LOVES to jump. He'll jump in the snow if I allow him to. Hopefully he'll stay on the tramp all summer while I attempt my garden!!
Brooklynn's growing, and becoming more independent every day. I recorded her singing "John Jacob Jingle Hyper Stick" the other day, but haven't' figured out how to download to the computer, yet! It's her own hilarious version- "Why is the sky so blue"!!! Love that little girl.
Moral of my story? I want spring to come. OR warmer weather. Wait-that's spring!! Enough with the snow, freezing, and rain. I want to go outside and not have to wear a winter coat, gloves, boots, and a hat! My kiddos can't wait-that's why they are already making the journey. I on the other hand will stick my toes past the doorway when it's above 58 degrees. Then I'm not just shaking out my rugs, I may just stay out a little while!!
