Our new pet . . .

I've discovered that with our new home came a new pet . . . a stinkin' owl who comes alive around 2:30 a.m. every morning! Usually I love to see owls when they are purched on something or flying through the air, but this "special" pet is going to kill me! I think this week we are going to try and find a name for our newly found pet. HECK, I should be the one to name him, he's only keeping me up!!

I didn't die . . .

Okay, a small update for those of you who keep asking how our Halloween game went. After looking over my shoulder all week long, not one person even came after me or even followed me!! (Yea, I'm kinda bummed!) Luke wasn't killed, either, so I guess the game was somewhat of a flop. I followed my new bishop (I had his name!), but the only time I would see him was on his way to a church meeting or work (both of those no no's for killing) He was outside trimming his trees the day before we could start killing, but I was out of luck all week!! The crazy lady Luke had was sick all week (I actually think she had surgery.) We are such boring people that we couldn't kill our contracts, either!
On the flip side, we also didn't make it to the party. I called Tommi the night before, because my kiddo's have been sick and I couldn't find a babysitter for sick kids! Besides, Luke didn't come home from work until 7:30 or so, so we would have missed the game completely! Oh well, there's always next year!

I'm hiding . . .

CRAZY stuff has been going on in McCammon. First of all, we're in the middle of moving. I have so much left to do, but we're in our new house (with heat, I might add!) It's been fun to have friends stop by to say hi and try to help, but this week I'll be living in a hole (aka: my mom's house!) I do have to sew new curtains for all the windows in the house (Luke likes to walk around in his whities all the time, and the family room is all windows!) I bought cute lime green striped fabric last week, so this week I need to get on it!
I'm also hiding, because today is the day we start killing people for our fun Halloween Party on Fri. (We have a contract out on someone in McCammon, while someone else has a contract out on us. We can use squirt guns or a syringe with water, and once we kill that person, we take all the contracts they have collected and kill the next person on the list!) Kim thinks it's morbid. I don't agree, however, I don't want someone standing in my shower when I come home and scaring me to pee my pants in the name of a game!! Heck, I'm planning on hiding in trees, what could be more fun than climbing a tree while I'm throwing up?!
Okay, now for the dilemma, what should Luke and I be for our party? We don't have a lot of time to make a costume, not a lot of spending money for one night (who knows if Luke will even wear a costume??) and not a lot of resources to find a unique one. PLEASE, if anyone has a suggestion, please let me know. Other wise, we'll have to settle for Carson's idea as a witch.

I know I'm a slacker . . .

Yep, I know it's been awhile, again! You have to give me credit, however, I do have a few things going against me. First of all, we are temporarily disconnected from the internet at our house. Hopefully when we get moved things will change in that department! Since I don't have the internet, I keep forgetting to bring my camera plug-in thingy to get my pics. off my camera! We really have been busy these last couple of weeks! Craters of the Moon, Yellowstone, soccer, etc. There is a lot going on! Finally, (I know I'm doing this a little too soon,) but I've been sick now for a few months. I knew I was gaining weight and my boobies hurt (can I say that on my blog?!), but I never thought I would be pregnant. Well, I guess Heavenly Father knows what is best for our family right now! I don't even know how far along I am (at least 7-8 weeks) cuz I wasn't keeping track. Hopefully I can feel better soon so I can be a better mom and feed my kiddos a real meal other than pop tarts and string cheese!
