Wilbur

This is my daughter's new best friend. Heaven forbid she put a baby in the stroller! She honestly carries this pig around with her everywhere. I think she's seen "Charlot's Web" a little too many times, don't you??

She even calles him Wilbur and sings to him. He's a dumb plastic pig who oinks when you put batteries in him, but Brooklynn doesn't know that!

What you've all been waiting for . . .

This is my famous laundry room. I don't know where the pic. of the washer and dryer are, but they are behind me in this pic. This is also my food storage/storage room.
This is a pic. looking down the hall to the bedrooms from the bathroom. On the right is the laundry room. Notice you go up the stairs? That used to be where you stood and on both sides, where the rooms are, are where the cows would be milked!! Luke just built it up so we didn't have to climb to every room. I think everyone in the family and who has come to visit has fallen down these stairs, because the second one is taller than the rest!!

This pic. is a mess! Sorry, we were in the prosess of hooking up the computer! Anywhoo, this is our office/fireplace room. It is kinda tiny but I love to sit here at night by the fire to read scriptures!

This is our fireplace off of the kitchen. Notice it isn't done. Luke is in the process of building the mantle. Then we need to stucko the wall behind it, because there used to be a door right there.

Here is my top models showing you how wide my kitchen is. We sometimes can fit the whole family in here, but with my ever growing belly, right now I'm only designated to be in the kitchen cooking!!!

This is my LARGE kitchen (yes, I love to dream!!) As you can see, the kitchen door is on the left (along with all the boots and coats for now). We barely have room for the table! I have gotten the rest of the curtains done since this pic. It looks a lot nicer.

Here they are: pics of the house. I can't figure out how to take better ones with all the different lighting, so this is the best I can do. Sorry. I also can't figure out how to add them with writing, I'm kinda dumb when it comes to computer stuff, so please bear with me. I'll have to try and keep them in order of my narrative. Also, sorry, but my house isn't the cleanest-enjoy!!
This is our family room. Notice how big it is? The t.v. area is the biggest part of the room! We're lucky to have a couch and a chair in there! I do, however have a coat closet that isn't painted!! Also, my favorite, if you look really hard out the doors, you can see a horses behind! Kinda goes with my theme, doesn't it?!!
I don't know where the pics of the bedrooms keep ending up- maybe another post later?!!

If you give your daughter oatmeal . . .

If you give your daughter oatmeal for breakfast, she may spill some on herself and want to change her clothes immediately.
While in her room, she'll see her jelly shoes and want to wear them around the house, even though right now we are not wearing shoes on the carpet (due to a mud issue for the next few months).
As she proudly parading around in her jelly shoes and new outfit, she'll come and ask you to paint her toenail (the one that has a chip in it that was just painted yesterday.)
While you're fixing the polish on the toenail, you're watching the Today Show on tv, and the PussyCat Dolls are about to perform. They start swinging their hips and dancing, which will remind her of her trunk of dress up clothes in her bedroom. She needs to put on a dancing dress. (and necklaces, earrings, bracelets, hair pieces, etc.)
While you're helping her take her old clothes off to put on a new dress, you remember that she has a wet toenail, and ask her to sit down and just watch.
Two minutes later, she'll jump up to dance and realize she doesn't have any dancing shoes on like the PussyCat Dolls, and want to get some on.
When she goes back to her room, she see the dirty clothes she put on 12 minutes ago, and remember the oatmeal.
Chances are, while finishing the bowl she has on the table, she'll spill some on her dancing clothes, and we'll go on for another 3 hours with this game!

Yes, this is a true story, and, yes, it ALL happened before 9 a.m. yesterday. I still don't know why I am so tired all the time:)

So much going on!!

Yep, still here, still FAT and PREGO!! (Yes, 8 more weeks, but I'll let him come early- just this once. Heaven forbid any other kiddos came early!!) My biggest problem now is that I hurt my back. I was hooking up the vcr for Brooklynn to watch a movie, and the tv fell off on me. I was stupid, and caught it, and REALLY hurt my back! On a lighter note, Weston's kidneys are improving! There is currently no more blockage on his right kidney (exiting or coming into), but the left still is blocked. However, the size is going down, and, as my doctor said, he could outgrow it now before he is born. We're crossing our fingers! He'll have another ultra sound about 3 days after he's born to make sure all is well.

Thanks to all those who came to my open house! Susan F. was the big winner, but her daughter already spoke for the warmer, so she'll have to get Tryssa one, too! (Sorry, Susan!) Julie, Betsy, Shayla, Kendra, and Deb G. were also winners, along with some that got some stuff in their bag without knowing they won!!

For those of you who are asking for pics. for the house-- they are coming! I am having serious issues with my camera and the sun. I have so many windows in the house that I can't not get a glare, or the lighting is funny with my camera when it's dark outside. I don't know what I'm doing wrong! Next time it snows or is overcast, I'll try again! (No promises, though.) I may even give up and show what I've actually got on the camera!

We've got three new additions to our family! They are the cuttest puppies ever! We always said we wouldn't get another animal (besides dumb cows, horses, and pigs, which we currently have) due to our luck with dogs dying, but since we live in the middle of two fields, we decided to try our luck. Luke actually found these two on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. We think someone dropped them off once they were old enough. They were starving and cold (only about 6 weeks old) and "rescued" them for our boys! Carson's is fluffy brown and named "Drake" (from Drake and Josh), and Colton's is back and white (also fluffy) and named "Max" (after Grandma Ruth's late dog!) I was also informed that day that we have a pet cat named "Darth Vader" (he's solid black and just hangs out at our house). We don't feed him, hoping that he'll just eat mice and keep them out of our house!

Well, for those of you who are going to girl's night, see you next week. For everyone else, send me a message! I feel lonely living in the middle of nowhere with all older women around me now! Girls night is long overdue!!!!
