Brooklynn Ruth Foster

Brooklynn Ruth Foster is our families little princess. We got way too used to boys in our family, so Heavenly Father blessed us with this little one! She's now ten months old, full of life, mischief, and still as bald as she was when she was born! She's definately a girl.

Brooklynn was born on January 9, 2007. She was a week early and soooo tiny! She still is very petite for one of our kids, but she's a girl, so what else should we expect! She's still tall for her age (I don't think any of our kidlies have ever been out of the 90th percentile for height!)

Brooks has four nicknames that she is known for in our family: Brooks, Roo, Sister, and Mater. Brooks and Sister pretty self explainitory. Roo comes from Luke and the boys when they are playing with her. (She has every boy in our family wrapped around her finger!) Colton calls her Sister when she is getting into something of his! Mater came around six months when she got her two buck teeth! They really do make her look like mater off of Cars! (Especially when she scunches up her nose!)

Sis loves to dance! If there is any kind of beat or tempo, she's shaking her bootie to it. (Including the Sacrament music!) She also loves to sing. It sounds like she's yelling during church, but she is just singing along with the rest of the congregation! She loves to play with her big brothers, eat, hang out with Aunt Gretchen, push tractors or cars around (I know, but she still has older brothers!), take baths, babies, shop, and be outside. She LOVES birds. She actually can say a lot of things for being ten months old. She says mom, dad, bath, bird, hot, up, pop (thanks, Aunt Gretch!), bye, hi, baby, dog, and Bart (Uncle Scottie's dog). Brooklynn loves to give kisses and be the center of attention. She learned to crawl around six months, just after she learned to sit on her own. However, she crawls so funny! She keeps one leg always behind her so that she can keep sitting down! My cousin thinks she looks like her leg is stuck, or something! She's everwhere and into everything! Her brothers can attest to that. She loves to be in the kitchen when I'm cooking or baking! Did I mention I love her to bits?! She's my favorite Brooklynn Ruth!
